What is CTAMFT?

Join the Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of the Connecticut Association for Marriage and Family Therapy develops the vision and sets the priorities for the work of our professional association. The Board of Directors is made up of the Officers of CTAMFT (i.e., President, Past-President, President-Elect, Treasurer, Secretary), four Clinical Members, one Associate Member of CTAMFT, and one Student Member of CTAMFT. The time commitment of Board members includes, but is not limited to:
1) attendance at ten Board of Directors meetings per year; 2) serving as a liaison to a Committee and attending the meetings of that Committee; and 3) Officers of the Board meet for an additional ten meetings per year as the Executive Committee.

Each year, elections are held to fill the seats of Board Members whose terms will end. Clinical Members can vote for the Officers and Clinical Members of the Board of Directors; Associate Members can vote for the Associate Member of the Board; and Student Members can vote for the Student Member of the Board. To nominate yourself or someone else to be on the ballot, please contact Elise Harrison, Ph.D., LMFT of the Elections Committee at eharrison@mail.fairfield.edu. We strongly encourage members to run for office. Join the Board of Directors and help to create the professional association you want!
