There are five Universities in the state of Connecticut that offer graduate degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy. Please contact each for more information about their programs.
Internship Programs for MFTs
Each graduate institution has its own listing of internship placement sites and assists its students in finding an appropriate placement that meets their students’ needs. Internship placement sites include hospitals, schools, youth services bureaus, community mental health agencies, and more. Students should speak with their graduate program’s clinical director early to voice their specific interests and learn about internship placement opportunities. CTAMFT has also compiled a partial listing of placement sites that accept interns and associates. If you are a CTAMFT member, you can access this list in the Members section.
