State of Connecticut Continuing Education Regulations for Marriage
and Family Therapists

The Department of Public Health (DPH) has approved continuing education regulations (click here for text of regulations). Marriage and family therapists are required to attend professional development courses to attain 15 CEUs per year.

DPH will select people at random to prove their attendance, so save your CEU certificates for at least 3 years. You cannot carry over CEUs from year to year.

If you have questions, please contact Phyllis Gordon, CTAMFT Association Manager, at ctamft@snet.net.
